Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Sales Associate to join our this role you will assist customers with purchases operate the cash register restock merchandise and maintain a clean and safe store environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner
• Accurately process transactions using the cash register and handle payments
• Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise
• Maintain cleanliness of the store including the sales floor restrooms and fuel pumps
• Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers as needed
• Follow safety and security procedures including age verification for restricted products
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally

Skills & Requirements:

• Familiarity with electronic equipment including cash registers and other POS systems.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in using computers.
• Effective communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• Ability to collaborate with the team to manage workload and pace effectively.
• Willingness to learn about store processes products and services.
• Ability to remain composed in confrontational situations.
• Capability to work in a high-volume sometimes high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes Sunday through Saturday. Availability to open and close the store as needed.
• Must be able to work in cold environments such as outdoor cold weather and indoor coolers.
• Must also be able to work in heat during the summer months to perform outdoor duties.
