Academic Nuclear Medicine Physician PET & Theranostics

Job Description The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center has an opening for a Nuclear Medicine physician. The candidate should be ABNM or ABNM/ABR dual Board certified in Nuclear Medicine and have at least 2 years of clinical and research experience, preferably in the areas of PET oncology, molecular imaging and theranostics. The individual should have a track record of research, teaching and publications. Responsibilities Interpretation of general and cardiovascular nuclear medicine procedures, PET/CT, PET/MR, and radionuclide therapies. Extensive teaching of nuclear medicine and radiology residents. Participation in the Nuclear Medicine residency program, ACGME accredited with 5 positions. Qualifications ABNM or ABNM/ABR dual Board certification. Minimum 2 years of clinical and research experience, preferably in PET oncology, molecular imaging, and theranostics. Track record of research, teaching and publications. State license required to practice. Board Certification Required; position to be performed in hospital. Expected rank is Assistant Professor or higher; rank and tenure status dependent on qualifications. Salary range: $398,000- $440,000.
