Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based Position Type: Full-Time (Approx. 32–35 hours/week, spread over 4 days) Pay Rate: Up to $65.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience) Grade Levels: Pre-K through 12th Grade (Preschool, Middle School, High School) Number of Openings: 1 Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our educational team for the current school year. This position offers a flexible 4-day work schedule supporting students across preschool, middle school, and high school levels. The ideal candidate will have prior school-based experience and a strong passion for helping students develop the functional skills needed to succeed in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations for Pre-K through 12th-grade students. Develop, write, and present comprehensive evaluation reports and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Attend and actively participate in multidisciplinary IEP team meetings. Provide direct occupational therapy services and interventions per student IEP goals. Provide consultation and support to teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment. Qualifications & Requirements Licensure: Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in California. Experience: Prior experience working in a school-based setting is required. Skills: Strong knowledge of IEP processes, standardized OT assessment tools, and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
