This is your opportunity to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with career firefighters and make a tangible impact in the Seaside community.Volunteer Firefighters respond to fire and medical emergencies 24/7 and train regularly to maintain operational readiness. You will ride fire apparatus to emergency scenes, operate hose lines and ladders, assist with ventilation and forcible entry, support Basic Life Support alongside EMTs, and participate in drills and public education efforts.???? Candidates must reside or work within the district, pass a background check, a drug and alcohol screen (including marijuana), a physical ability test, and hold a valid Oregon driver's license.While unpaid, the experience is invaluable.
