Location: Austin, TX
Salary: $90,000 - $140,000

Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Superintendent to lead and supervise electrical installations on commercial and industrial construction projects. The superintendent will be responsible for on-site coordination, quality assurance, safety compliance, and schedule management to ensure successful delivery of power systems and electrical work from ground-up construction through turnover. 

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical project schedules, milestones, and stakeholders.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, project requirements, and safety standards.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders; resolve field issues.
• Manage material procurement, deliveries, and inventory.
• Conduct quality inspections and corrective actions.
• Train and mentor electricians, foremen, and junior staff.
• Coordinate power shutdowns and temporary power needs.
• Maintain daily reports, progress tracking, and closeout documentation.

Qualifications

• .7+ years of electrical construction experience, including 3+ years in a superintendent or senior leadership role.
• Proven success leading electrical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, power distribution, switchgear, transformers, and grounding.
• Expertise in NEC, electrical codes, and industry standards.
• Experience with commercial and industrial electrical installations.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and AutoCAD plans.
• Skilled in project scheduling, trade coordination, and deadline management.
• Background as an electrician, foreman, or project engineer preferred.
