Mansfield, Texas Contract to Hire Aug 3, 2026 NSC Staffing has an immediate opening for a Press Brake Operator in Mansfield, TX - Background friendly - Shift: 1st shift, schedule 7a 3:30p, Monday Friday Pay: $20-$26 depending on experience We are seeking a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to join our custom metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Amada press brakes and be proficient in manual set up and programming. This role is critical to shaping precision metal components for custom projects, requiring a strong understanding of forming techniques, blueprint reading, and machine operation. Key responsibilities include:
- Operate Amada press brake machine to bend and form metal components to exact specifications
- Perform manual set up of tooling, back gauges, and machine parameters for each job
- Program machine using interface or controller
- Read and interpret blueprints, flat prints and bend drawings
- Maintain press brake equipment and tooling in good working condition
Duties:
- Select appropriate tooling and dies based on material type and bend requirements
- Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent bend angles and dimensions
- Handle a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Assist in layout and verification of formed parts
