Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time position involves coordinating and implementing patient care within the surgical environment. The role requires ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient care aligned with best practices and organizational standards, supporting patient recovery and safety throughout perioperative processes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact State license; BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); at least 3 years of experience in Operating Room nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of perioperative procedures, experience with EMR systems, proficiency in surgical preparation, and patient advocacy skills.
• Additional Information:
  • Responsibilities include obtaining and recording preoperative assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, performing intraoperative care and procedures, and supporting team communication.
  • Candidates will participate in patient education, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule of 8-hour shifts during daytime hours is required.
  • This role involves clinical responsibilities requiring adherence to safety and infection control policies, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
