Position Summary: We Are Seeking A Clinical Nurse (Rn) For A Well-Respected Out-Patient Clinic Setting In Blue Island, Il. The Rn Would Be Responsible For Outreach To A Broad And Diverse Patient Population. The Clinical Nurse (Rn) Must Be Able To Maintain Flexibility And Organization In Working With Patients From A Diverse Background. The Clinical Nurse (Rn) Will Also Work Closely With The Interdisciplinary Team Including The Nurse Manager As Well As Various Referring Positions, Including Outreach Workers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Coordinate Contact Tracing Staff Activities For Patients
• Education Of Staff On Protocols For Contact Tracing
• Provide Results Notifications And Respond To Clinical Questions From Patients Regarding Their Care
• Serves As Resource For Patients With Clinical Questions
• Differentiates Patient Care Issues
• Assures Timely Collection Of Project Data Reflecting Contact Tracing. Reports This Data To The Nurse Manager.
• Performs Other Duties As Requested By Nurse Manager

Required Qualifications:

• Clinical Experience Required
• Registration And Possession Of Current Rn License In State Of Illinois
• Possess Excellent Decision Making And Communication Skills
• Possess Effective Teaching Skills In Working With Staff And Patient Population
• Possess Basic Computer Skills, Including Microsoft Excel
• Familiar With Insurance Coverage Including Medicare, Idpa And Commercial Providers
