About the Position

Travel Telemetry RN's are needed in a facility in North Dakota. ND license is required. ND or compact license is required. 2 + years of cardiac experience is required. ACLS and BLS are required. Shifts are 7-7 D/N rotating, with every 3rd weekend. 36 hours per week are guaranteed. Nursing staff that can take post cath patients, titrate intervenous cardiac medications, and care for other cardiac patients. The RN would work with 2 other nurses on a 12 bed unit. The telemetry unit works with the observation unit- a 6 bed unit that takes care of patients with an estimated 12-48hr length of stay. It would be possible to float there, we would not require floating to any other department unless the traveler wished to do so and the census was low. The unit department specific training consists of: reviewing information on the cardiac drips run on the unit and taking a short test with scenarios, signing off on the orientation packet, completing a first day checklist, and a sign off on heart rhythms.
