Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a night shift position from 7 PM to 7 AM, Wednesday through Friday, with work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The role involves 70% mechanical and 30% electrical work on industrial textile equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility and equipment.
• Assist in inventory control of maintenance items and process components.
• Observe equipment to diagnose machine issues to determine the need for adjustment or repair.
• Disassemble and rebuild equipment as required.
• Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
• Remove and replace worn or defective parts or repair drive mechanisms or hydraulic systems.
• Realign and adjust components.
• Perform preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Hours can vary depending on facility requirements.
• Complete any other tasks assigned by management.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of maintenance experience and/or training.
• Troubleshooting skills in mechanical, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with industrial maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Textile manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Own tools required.

Work Environment

The facility is non-climate controlled and can become very hot during the summer. The work environment may include wet and humid conditions, the risk of electrical shock, exposure to moving mechanical parts, and excessive heat. This is a Permanent position based out of Statesville, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $62400.00/yr.
