The offered salary for this position ranges from $66,000 - $69,000 and is based upon a candidates education. A copy of your nursing degree transcripts, a copy of your Georgia Nursing License & CPR card must be attached with this application to be considered for employment. We are seeking qualified registered nurses to join our clinical teams. Candidates will function as a part of a multidisciplinary team of Public Health professionals providing excellent customer service and clinical care in District Public Health clinics and community based events. perform comprehensive assessment of clients’ health care needs; develop comprehensive plans of care for clients; administer treatments, medications, vaccines and preventive and maintenance care to patients and families, consistent with plan of care and/or physician treatment plan; provide health teaching and instruction to individuals, families and groups; provides school-related health care services; provide services in an expanded nursing role in Women’s Health, STD, Refugee and Child Health programs; provide immunizations and oversee LPN staff provision of immunizations; perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational needs and support overall community health and wellness. Minimum: Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university completion of a PHN course within one year of hire current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license CPR certification Note: No experience required. Preferred: One year of experience as a Registered Nurse. One year of Public Health nursing setting. Bilingual – any language (Spanish preferred).
