What Our Client Needs
Our client is seeking a Demand Planning Lead to own the monthly Demand Review process and develop the unconstrained demand plan supporting Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP). This role will align cross-functional teams around a single view of future demand while improving forecast accuracy, analytics, inventory visibility, and planning processes.

You communicate effectively across functions, challenge assumptions constructively, and bring structure to forecasting and planning processes. You are comfortable presenting analysis and recommendations to leadership.

What You’ll Do
Lead demand planning, forecasting, inventory analysis, and cross-functional alignment to support business and operational decisions.

• Lead the monthly Demand Review process, documenting forecast assumptions, risks, opportunities, and decisions.
• Develop and maintain unconstrained rolling demand forecasts across product families, SKUs, geographies, and channels.
• Facilitate consensus planning with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Care, Field Technical Services, Business Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Analyze forecast accuracy, bias, variability, seasonality, and demand drivers and implement corrective actions.
• Develop scenarios and sensitivity analyses to evaluate business risks, opportunities, and operational impacts.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory levels across global sites and planning systems, including kit, device, drug, and spare parts inventory.
• Conduct global cycle counts, analyze discrepancies, and support corrective actions while maintaining regulatory and quality compliance.
• Prepare executive-ready dashboards, reports, presentations, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate, standardized, and auditable demand planning data, assumptions, master data, and documentation.
• Partner with Supply Planning and Operations to communicate demand changes and potential impacts on inventory, production, capacity, and service levels.
• Support Supply Review and Executive SIOP meetings with demand insights, analytics, and scenario evaluations.
• Improve forecasting methodologies, planning processes, reporting capabilities, systems, and governance controls.
• Identify opportunities to use automation and analytics to strengthen planning effectiveness and SIOP maturity.

This role works across multiple functions and serves as a primary business contact for demand-related planning and analysis. No specific travel or supervisory responsibilities were provided.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, SIOP, S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with forecasting methodologies, demand analytics, scenario planning, and performance measurement.
• Experience in regulated medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare manufacturing environments preferred.
• Supply chain certification, such as APICS CPIM or CSCP, preferred.
