As a registered nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth office operations. \n \n Operating Room Registered Nurse at TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital \n \n \n We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operating Room Circulator to join our surgical team. The OR Circulator will be responsible for providing nursing care and services during surgical procedures, including patient positioning, preparation, and circulating duties. Experience in various surgical specialties is preferred. \n \n Responsibilities Include \n \n \n Provide direct nursing care to post-surgical patients in accordance with established policies and procedures \n Monitor patient recovery, assess vital signs, and recognize any signs of complications \n Administer medications, including pain management, per physician orders \n Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations \n Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans \n Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment \n Ensure compliance with all infection control and safety protocols \n Assist in emergency situations, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills \n Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families throughout the recovery process \n \n Qualifications: \n \n \n Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN) \n Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Texas \n Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS if applicable to patient population \n Experience in an operating room setting is required \n Experience in various surgical specialties is a plus \n \n What We Offer \n \nAs an organization, one way we care for our communities and each other is by providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes the following, subject to employment status: \n \n \n Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage \n Life and AD&D coverage \n Availability of short- and long-term disability \n Flexible financial benefits including FSAs and HSAs \n 401(k) and access to retirement planning \n Paid holidays and vacation \n \n Who We Are \n \nAt USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
