MARKETING ASSISTANT (FULL TIME)

Location: Missouri State University, 901 South National Avenue, Springfield, MO 65897. Full‑time Marketing Assistant – Hiring immediately. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour. Job Summary As a Marketing Assistant, you will assist with marketing, merchandising, and promotions to ensure superior service and maximize profits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities. Analyze customer/resident research, current market conditions, and competitor information. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and projects for new and existing accounts. Expand and develop marketing platforms. Manage the productivity of marketing plans and projects. Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results. Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget. Report on return on investment and key performance metrics. Create marketing presentations. Monitor industry best practices and trends. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1 year of marketing experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to present to large groups. Knowledge of merchandising and promotions. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the internet. Experience with graphic design, event promotion, and social media content creation.
