Job Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment programs to improve or restore physical function, reduce pain, and prevent further dysfunction. Review physician referrals and patient records, collaborating with the Physical Therapist and other medical professionals to plan and evaluate care. Conduct and document assessments including strength, motor development, functional capacity, sensory response, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency. Evaluate patient progress, update the electronic medical chart, and adjust treatment plans as needed, including referring patients to other providers when appropriate. Instruct patients in the proper use of assistive devices (e.g., walkers, crutches, canes, wheelchairs) and provide home‑exercise guidance. Educate patients on orthopedic health, ergonomics, and injury prevention strategies. Assist with discharge planning and ensure appropriate follow‑up care in coordination with the Physical Therapist. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Active Nevada Physical Therapist Assistant license (required within 60 days of employment).
