Additionally, Strata specializes in the design and manufacturing of emergency refuge chambers, and specialized construction products.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesMaintain, monitor and continuously update the Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant standardsConduct audits, both internal and external, to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvementParticipate in the ISO certification processes and maintain documentation and records to support certification and compliance effortsAnalyze data to identify trends and drive process improvementsMonitor internal repair processes and maintain history of repairsOversee and update the RMA process and report on trendsLead Corrective Action processMonitor and audit the quality systems of contract manufacturers and component suppliersOversee the quality of both in-house and contract-manufactured products to ensure they meet customer and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with other departments to integrate the Quality Management System into the overall business strategyCommunicate effectively with all levels of management, staff, and external stakeholders regarding quality issues and initiativesAssist with the development of new processes (repair, RMA, inspection, etc.) as new products are developedQualificationsThe qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of experience in quality management within the industrial tech/manufacturing sectorDemonstrated experience with ISO certification processes and quality management systemsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareCertified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Six Sigma Green Belt certificationExperience in managing quality in contract manufacturing environmentsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with stakeholdersFamiliarity with inspection tools (calipers, etc.) and basic hand toolsWorking ConditionsLocation: Canonsburg, PA Travel Requirements: The incumbent may be required to travel as needed to audit or qualify manufacturers within the USA and occasional international travel. Trips will likely require overnight stay away from home for one or more nights. Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to perform general physical exertions, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting materials or equipment.Work Environment: Typical work environment.
