AE - Selling Team Leader (Assistant Manager)

Your Role As the full‑time Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's go‑to person for developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the daily operations of the store. You train and coach your team into high‑performing sellers who consistently deliver an unforgettable guest experience and achieve sales goals while maintaining merchandising brand standards and operational excellence. You also represent company values and bring your authentic self to work every day. Your Responsibilities Drive sales by maximizing fitting room and sales floor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best‑in‑class experience. Analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and support short and long‑term business planning to achieve key KPIs. Motivate and inspire the team through AEO’s core values, hold them accountable for customer service standards, and foster a positive work culture. Recruit, hire, and develop strong talent to keep the store staffed for business needs. Train the team to provide outstanding service. Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, development plans, and performance reviews, and celebrate team achievements. Innovate and execute daily operational procedures, support visual standards, and ensure fitting rooms are guest‑ready and align with AEO brand standards. Maintain store safety, asset protection, and company policies and procedures with integrity. Qualifications Passion for AE and Aerie products. Previous retail management experience. Strong multitasking, attention to detail, priority setting, and time‑management skills. Experience leading and developing teams with a general understanding of employment law. Business acumen and flexible availability to meet guest shopping times.
