Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Anesthesiology

Responsibilities Administer anesthesia during surgical procedures and monitor patient vital signs Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement anesthesia care plans Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative evaluations Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures in anesthesiology Manage anesthetic complications and respond to emergencies in a timely manner Educate patients and their families regarding anesthetic techniques and procedures Document all anesthesia-related activities and patient interactions accurately Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education programs Requirements Valid MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) license Board certification in Anesthesiology preferred At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in anesthesiology Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Fellowship training in critical care or pain management is a plus Additional Details Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week Beeper call Cases: General, busy OB, some neuro, minimal peds Must be able to lay epidurals and neuro cases Medical Supervision: 1:4 Must be able to do independent cases as well EMR: Epic Board certification required Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 Consultants
