$195,000–$210,000/year with excellent benefits Executive Director – Redwood Coast Regional Center (RCRC) RCRC is seeking a compassionate, experienced leader to serve as its next Executive Director . This at-will position reports to a volunteer Board of Directors and oversees services for nearly 5,000 individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities across Mendocino, Lake, Humboldt, and Del Norte counties . RCRC operates under a $253 million contract with the California Department of Developmental Services and employs a dedicated staff of 175. About RCRC One of California’s 21 regional centers, RCRC is a private nonprofit providing lifelong services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The Executive Director may be based in Ukiah or Eureka . Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership through five departmental directors. Advise and support the Board of Directors in setting and implementing policies. Maintain strong relationships with state agencies, partner organizations, and community stakeholders. Ensure high-quality, person-centered services across a large rural region. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in social services or a related field, including 5 years in executive management . Master’s degree in Business, Public or Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Education, or related field (PhD preferred). Experience with developmental disabilities services and knowledge of the Lanterman Act strongly desired. Extensive travel required across the four-county service area.
