Corporate Associate - Mergers & Acquisitions

Overview FaegreDrinker is actively recruiting an associate to join the Corporate Practice Group in any of our offices located in the UnitedStates. Candidates must list the office they wish to be considered for in the requested cover letter. Responsibilities & Qualifications We are seeking candidates with three to six years of experience in corporate law, with particular experience in mergers & acquisitions and other general corporate and commercial matters. The candidate must have experience leading due diligence teams, managing specialists and drafting transaction documents. The successful candidate also will have excellent writing skills, superior academics, and the ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision. Practice Group Services FaegreDrinker’s Corporate Practice Group provides a full range of services to public and private companies, private equity funds and financial institutions. Work Policy In‑office work policy asks all attorneys, consulting professionals and paraprofessionals to work from a FaegreDrinker office three days per week, striking a balance between in‑person collaboration, relationship‑building, and exceptional client service, while also supporting individual flexibility and work‑life balance. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $180,000 - $315,000. Actual initial salary will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job‑related factors, including the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law.
