Shop Assistant
An established manufacturing company is looking for a Machine Shop Assistant on 1st shift. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically inclined candidate looking for a fulltime 1st shift opportunity!
The primary responsibility of the Machine Shop Assistant will be running a dynamic balance from start to finish. This will include hand grinding, measuring and testing mechanical components within the equipment. Maintaining existing machines and diagnosing/repairing malfunctions using test equipment and hand tools will also be included. The Machine Shop Assistant will work four days a week from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Wage is set at $19-23/hr. based on experience.

Qualifications: 1-2+ years' experience in an industrial/shop environment, preferred. Previous fabrication shop experience preferred, not required. Ability to multi-task and take on new duties. Experience working with basic hand and power tools. Experience using micrometers, calipers and other measuring equipment a plus.
