Advanced Practice Provider - Corrections (Nights)

Advanced Practice Provider – Corrections (Nights) Acclaim Health is seeking a full‑time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Correctional Medicine Team at the Tarrant County Jail in downtown Fort Worth, TX. The position involves providing all aspects of patient care, including acute and chronic diagnosis, treatment, and consultations. The APP will also provide phone consultations with two other correctional facilities. Schedule 12‑hour shifts (7:00 pm‑7:00 am) on a rotating basis, including weekends. Job Summary Under the supervision of the collaborating physician, the APP reviews patient medical charts and performs physical exams to diagnose, treat, and manage care of patients; makes appropriate referrals; monitors guidelines; provides patient education; delivers evidence‑based, compassionate care; maintains a collaborative environment with other providers, clinical and support staff; and performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Minimum 2 years of experience as an APP in a primary‑care setting. Current Texas PA license or Texas APRN license (FNP‑BC or AGPCNP‑BC). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Preferred Experience Prior experience working in a large county jail system as a PA or NP, including clinical rotations. Location 100 N.
