Chemist - Entry Level

job summary:
Kickstart your cosmetics R&D career with a Top-Tier Global Beauty & Personal Care Leader! We are looking for a detail-oriented Chemist I to join an innovative laboratory team in Clark, NJ. In this role, you will play a hands-on part in developing cutting-edge cosmetic formulations and bringing high-performance products from concept to creation.

responsibilities:

• Formulate new cosmetic prototypes and modify existing formulas to meet precise product performance and safety specifications.
• Monitor stability testing of formulations, troubleshooting and making necessary adjustments to resolve issues.
• Provide creative, resourceful solutions to technical challenges encountered during the product development process.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with various R&D support groups to advance project timelines.
• Efficiently manage and maintain a active pipeline of at least five core development projects simultaneously.

 
qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science).
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience.
• Strong computer literacy and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred:

• Direct formulation experience within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
