Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CT Tech to perform routine and emergent computed tomography examinations in a hospital setting. The technologist will work independently, ensuring high-quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols and patient care standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced CT scans, including trauma, stroke, CTA, and contrast-enhanced procedures, in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Operate GE CT/X-ray equipment and maintain proficiency with EMS, PACS, and RIS systems.
• Assist with routine radiography, portable imaging, fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures in various clinical areas.
• Monitor patient status during imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort throughout.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and surgical teams to support diagnostic and intervention needs.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of two years of recent acute-care CT experience, capable of working independently after orientation.
• Hold current ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification, with valid BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Demonstrate proficiency with GE CT equipment and Meditech EMR systems.
• Experience in trauma centers, managing challenging patient positioning and emergent situations preferred.
