As a Service Technician, you'll be crucial in delivering, installing, servicing, and maintaining Martin wear components and products on designated service routes. Collaborating with our sales team, you'll identify sales opportunities while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. This role offers an hourly wage of $28 to $42, based on skills and location, along with commission opportunities and travel, including occasional overnight stays. Key Responsibilities Efficiently deliver, install, and service Martin products according to standard work instructions, while prioritizing safety. Communicate project status effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers. Complete assigned projects independently, including maintenance agreements within your service area. Document daily sales transactions accurately. Follow assigned routes and schedules diligently. Maintain a well‑stocked and organized vehicle and warehouse, conducting weekly inventory counts. Operate your vehicle safely, adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Generate quotes and reports for customer service in the field, as needed. Keep your work area and equipment clean while following safety regulations rigorously. Suggest improvements for service routes and processes. Train assigned employees to meet quality, safety, and technical skill requirements, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent; a two-year technical or vocational degree is preferred. Experience in mechanical or conveyor maintenance is advantageous, along with a background in sales. Must be at least 21 years old and meet driver qualifications based on position and DOT regulations.
