Make a meaningful impact supporting student communication and learning in a virtual school setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who is ready to step into a maternity leave coverage role, working remotely and bringing expertise to a dedicated school caseload.
Start as soon as possible and continue through May 21, contributing your insights and care as students develop their speech and language abilities. This is a full-time, virtual assignment with a supportive and collaborative educational team.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Texas
• CCC-SLP credential preferred
• Previous experience in a school-based setting
• Proficiency in virtual therapy delivery platforms
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working with school-aged children to facilitate their communication goals
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive SLP services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop and monitor progress on treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents/guardians
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Engage students through creative and interactive teletherapy methods
• Attend necessary meetings and provide timely updates on student progress
