Remote Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Remote Litigation Attorney to join their team in Wilmington, DE. This full-time position offers a flexible work environment, allowing for remote or hybrid arrangements, except for court-mandated appearances. The role involves representing New Jersey clients in diverse and challenging legal matters. Duties Represent clients in all phases of litigation from initiation to expert discovery. Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences. Conduct complex legal research and discovery investigations. Draft discovery requests, responses, motions, and legal memoranda. Review discovery responses and prepare summaries and litigation update reports. Negotiate with opposing counsel to settle claims. Communicate closely with clients to provide legal analysis and status reports. Requirements Must be barred in NJ. Familiarity with NJ law and procedure required. Previous experience in civil litigation preferred. Experience drafting discovery, taking lead on depositions, and arguing motions preferred. Excellent writing and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Lexis software. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in New Jersey. Skills Strong legal research and analytical skills.
