Location: Euclid - 22801 Employment Status: Salary Full-Time Function: Manufacturing Pay Grade and Range: AZT000-P3($87,306.00- $102,713.00) Bonus Plan: AIP Purpose Contribute to the design, specification, analysis, and continuous improvement of electrical components, assemblies, and complete arc‑welding and plasma‑cutting systems. Partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Service teams to sustain and enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability throughout the product lifecycle. Job Description (Duties and Responsibilities) Product Support & Improvement Analyze field‑returned products and/or production test failures to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions. Implement changes to product designs, documentation, or test procedures to improve quality, reliability, manufacturability, and/or reduce cost. Provide technical support to resolve production issues, field service problems, and customer‑reported concerns. Design Optimization & Validation Identify opportunities for product cost reduction through design optimization, material changes, or manufacturing process improvements. Perform and supervise testing of design changes to verify product performance, durability, and compliance with specifications. Evaluate alternate suppliers for components or assemblies to ensure performance, reliability, and fitness for use. Validate that existing product designs continue to meet functional, safety, and regulatory requirements. Collaboration and Knowledge Distribution Collaborate with colleagues across R&D, Manufacturing, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Service to define objectives, resolve issues, and drive continuous product improvement. Provide technical information and support to Sales, Marketing, and Service teams as needed to assist with customer inquiries and field issues. Engage with suppliers, distributors, customers, and sales engineers on an occasional basis to discuss technical matters, product performance, or improvement opportunities. Effectively use and contribute to Lincoln Electric’s engineering standards, design methods, and shared bodies of knowledge to enhance product quality, reliability, and customer value. Support the development and refinement of internal processes, documentation, and best practices to strengthen organizational learning and engineering consistency. Basic Requirements Bachelors of Science in Engineering Technology plus 3–5+ years of relevant experience Associates Degree in related field plus 5–7+ years of experience 10–15+ years of experience Proficient with Microsoft Office programs Excellent organizational skills Excellent problem‑solving skills Possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures to the completion of a variety of difficult assignments and changing priorities Lincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
