Industrial Maintenance TechnicianSumitomo is looking for a full time experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team! We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and various other machinery.Job duties and responsibilities include:Examine machines to diagnose issues, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operationDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipmentRepair CNC machines and/or roboticsMay occasionally make replacement partsGeneral preventative maintenance of machineryMay need to provide work training to less experienced maintenance staffWhat skills and experience are needed:Ability to work under limited supervision with minimal technical guidanceAbility to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisorsPreventive industrial maintenance experience preferred, but not requiredCandidates with previous experience with CNC grinding and/or machining equipment, a plus!General knowledge and skill with basic hand toolsAbility to follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standardAbility to lift 50 lbs.+Exceptional benefits:Outstanding Medical, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid Vacation and Holidays401(k) Match $ for $ up to 4%!Company Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany Paid Basic Life InsuranceMore benefits available!Work environment: Well-lit and clean machine shop with moderate noise. Staff members will need to be able to work while standing, sitting, bending, and climbing.
