Job Description
The mission of All Star Children's Foundation (ASCF) is to build a brighter future for children in foster care through innovation, science, and compassion.ASCF is situated on a 5-acre campus that includes an outpatient mental health and research center, along with 6 single-family foster homes.Foster parents and children on campus receive comprehensive intervention and support services from a team of trauma-informed professionals.






Position Title: Mental Health Clinician

Employment Status: Full-time, exempt

Salary Range: $60,000-$85,000/year

ASCF is seeking a licensed or license-eligible Mental Health Clinician to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed screening, assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention to children and families impacted by abuse, neglect, and child welfare involvement. This role is essential to ensuring comprehensive, high-quality, trauma-informed care for every child and family served, while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team model.

A successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology,Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related HumanServices field
• Current licensure in the State of Florida (LMHC,LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist), Registered Intern status with theFlorida Board, or eligibility for licensure with active pursuit ofRegistered Intern status with the Florida Board
• Preferred: Minimum of two years of post-master'ssupervised experience providing intervention and treatment to children andfamilies impacted by trauma
• Demonstrated familiarity with evidence-based,trauma-informed interventions for children and families
• Preferred: Certification or advanced training inevidence-based trauma treatments and frameworks (e.g., TF-CBT, EMDR, PCIT,ARC, MI, TBRI)
• Experience administering trauma screenings andassessment measures, conducting clinical interviews, and performingbehavioral observation
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in electronic health record documentationin compliance with Medicaid standards
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of amulti-disciplinary team across the client's clinical journey
• Knowledge of child abuse and neglect, the childwelfare system, and adoption processes
• Preferred: Experience working in community-based,group home, or residential settings

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed servicesacross outpatient, community, campus, and telehealth settings whilemaintaining fidelity to ASCF program models
• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-focused screenings andassessments to evaluate children's emotional, behavioral, and socialfunctioning
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized,strength-based treatment plans
• Support therapeutic transitions and promote placementstability for children and families
• Engage and collaborate with birth families, fosterfamilies, and other caregivers to support treatment goals and reinforcetrauma-informed parenting practices
• Provide clinical case management, including carecoordination, active participation in child-focused team meetings, andcollaboration with systems to ensure continuity and integration of care
• Participate in multidisciplinary case planningmeetings, team huddles, and ongoing supervision to support clinicaldecision-making and team alignment
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinicaldocumentation in accordance with agency standards and insurancerequirements
• Participate in ongoing professional development toenhance clinical skills and knowledge
• Provide trauma-informed training and educationalworkshops for staff, caregivers, and community partners
