Job Summary
The inpatient Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is located in Rome, Georgia. This role involves providing outpatient therapy services in a hospital-affiliated outpatient clinic specializing in occupational, physical, and speech therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering speech therapy treatments and evaluations, with an emphasis on outpatient rehab. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure in the state of Georgia; valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, including previous travel experience; strong preference for outpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in outpatient rehab settings; familiarity with hospital or outpatient therapy clinics.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The outpatient clinic has a team comprising two therapists, one Office Coordinator, and one Rehab Aide. Patients are scheduled in 30-minute intervals, with complex evaluations lasting one hour and simpler evaluations and treatments lasting 30 minutes. The typical patient load is 10-15 patients per day. The department utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record system. Scrubs (polos in Teal & Black) will be provided; slacks and clean shoes are preferred. Free parking is available.
