# Branch Lead – Hands-On Operator | Next Day Access Detroit

**Location:** Metro Detroit, MI

**Compensation:** $50,000–$70,000 base + performance bonus/commission (tied to installs and sales)

**Job Type:** Full-Time

## The Opportunity

Next Day Access Detroit is growing, and we're looking for someone who wants more than a job — someone who wants to build something. This is a hands-on leadership role for a person who's willing to learn every part of our business from the ground up: sales, home assessments, installations, scheduling, and customer service. You'll start in the field, working directly with customers and equipment, and grow into the person who runs day-to-day operations for our Detroit market.

We install modular ramps, stair lifts, porch lifts, grab bars, vehicle lifts, and other mobility equipment that helps seniors and people with disabilities stay safely in their homes. It's meaningful work, and it's also a real business — one where the person in this role has a direct path to more responsibility, more ownership over outcomes, and more pay as the branch grows.

## What You'll Do (and Learn)

- Meet with customers in their homes to assess needs and recommend the right accessibility equipment

- Sketch job plans, scope labor and materials, and manage work orders

- Install ramps, lifts, grab bars, and related equipment to code and manufacturer spec

- Build customer relationships and promote our products and services — this is a sales-involved role, not just an install job

- Manage scheduling and day-to-day logistics to keep jobs on track

- Maintain inventory, equipment, and company vehicles

- Handle customer service issues promptly and professionally

- As you grow into the role: help hire and train additional field staff, take on more of the operational and sales leadership for the Detroit market

## Who We're Looking For

- Someone hands-on and mechanically capable — comfortable with power tools and physical work (lifting up to 100 lbs, working in varying weather and terrain)

- A self-starter who wants ownership over a territory, not just a task list

- Strong communicator — you'll be the face of the company with customers, vendors, and corporate

- Comfortable with basic technology (smartphone, tablet, GPS, company software) and basic math for job costing and measurements

- Sales instincts or willingness to develop them — you'll be promoting our products and services directly to customers

- Clean driving record, ability to pass a background check and drug screening

- Prior experience in construction, home improvement, contracting, medical equipment, or a similar hands-on trade is a plus — but drive and coachability matter more than a specific resume
