Read below for more details!What you’ll do as a Maintenance Technician:Install, maintain, and repair production or processing equipmentPerform troubleshooting and machine overhauls using hand tools and precision measuring instrumentsRepair or replace defective equipment parts and reassemble equipmentConduct routine preventive maintenance on machines and building systemsInspect motors, drives, belts, and fluid levels, and perform maintenance tasks following checklistsUse hand tools, power tools, and testing devices to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issuesAssemble, install, or repair wiring, pipe systems, plumbing, and machineryReview blueprints, manuals, and catalogs to determine repair strategiesRecord maintenance work and associated costsClean and lubricate parts, including shafts, bearings, and gearsDismantle machinery using hoists, cranes, and hand tools to access faulty componentsKeep work areas clean and ensure all tasks meet safety, environmental, and health standardsWhat you need to be a Maintenance Technician:Training from vocational school, on-the-job experience, or an associate’s degreeSkills in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, machining, electrical, and PLC (programmable logic control)Ability to use a range of tools and testing equipmentStrong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skillsInitiative and ability to work independentlyEffective communication skills in EnglishPhysical ability to perform tasks including continuous lifting of 1–20 lbs., frequent lifting of 21–49 lbs., and occasional lifting of 50–85 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, bend, twist, push, pull, and work in hot/cold environmentsComfortable working in loud, high-vibration, and mechanically active environmentsCommitment to safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvementWhat are you waiting for?
