HVAC Residential Lead Installer

Alpine Heating and Air Conditioning is looking for a HVAC Residential Lead Installer!!The Lead Installer will install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with high-quality experience. The Lead Installer will supervise the work of other installers, maintaining high quality and timely job performance.Location: 4747 W 11th Avenue, STE D Eugene, OR 97402Salary range: $25 - $40/hr DOEHours: Fulltime – Monday - FridayJob shift: DayEssential Job Functions:Advanced understanding of layout, design, fabrication and installationAdvanced Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundingsBasic fabrication knowledge of sheet metal fittingsAbility to do perform basic pre-construction layoutAbility to do accurate material take-offs on construction blueprintsAbility to foresight and planning for ordering materials to keep project moving efficientlySize and draw duct work correctlyStart up and trouble shoot furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps and condensing unitsUnderstanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, wiring diagramsExcellent customer relations skills and an open mind to think outside of the boxAbility to train entry level personalRequired License and Experience:2 years of experience as a lead installerValid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurability requirementsEssential Responsibilities:Operate company vehicle dailyFollow instructions from supervisor and carry them out in timely mannerSupervise and be responsible for other installersReport problems with company tools or vehicle promptlyWork well with customers, co-workers and subcontractorsWork staggered schedule if requiredMaintain professional relationships with buildersMaintain professional appearance and attitude at all timesRun a job without supervisionComplete jobs within the labor budgetComplete all necessary paperwork, job packets, change orders, timecardsTrain entry level employees16 hours of job-related training annuallyRun and work a job from start to finishOther duties assignedWork environment:Working in tight spacesAbility to lift 100 lbsOccasionally high levels of dustWorking on-site at client’s homeBenefits:401(k) with a 4% employer matchMedical, dental and visionPaid holidays, vacationVisit our website: alpineheating.orgCompetenciesThis position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job.
