Salary Range: $39,000 - $59,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allendale that are seeking skilled Shipping & Receiving Clerks. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package finished goods for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
• Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials and supplies, verifying against purchase orders.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of materials.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of goods to prevent damage.
• Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with incoming or outgoing shipments.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using forklifts and pallet jacks, with current certification preferred
• Experience with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
• Forklift certification with experience operating various types of lift equipment.
• Proficiency in using barcode scanning systems and related software.
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA).
• Basic mechanical aptitude for minor equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
