Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
Location: Antelope Valley & East Kern County, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | 60% Clinical / 40% Administrative
Salary: $320,000–$420,000 annually (DOE)
Relocation: Available

Responsibilities

• Provide direct primary care approximately 60% of the time.
• Oversee MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs.
• Lead provider meetings, performance reviews, and productivity initiatives.
• Develop and monitor Quality Improvement and HEDIS strategies.
• Ensure accurate documentation, coding, and compliance.
• Support HRSA, TJC, PCMH, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in executive leadership, strategy, staffing, and operations.
• Represent the organization with community partners and stakeholders.
  

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified in a primary care specialty.
• Active California medical license or eligible for licensure.
• 5+ years of clinical experience.
• 3+ years of medical leadership experience.
• FQHC/community health experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
