This role serves as the primary onsite IT resource, ensuring a reliable, secure, and productive technology experience for employees. The technician provides end-user support, conference room support, device lifecycle management, and Smart Hands services for infrastructure technologies, acting as the local extension of centralized IT teams.Working closely with Service Desk, Network, Infrastructure, Server, Security, and Application teams, this role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting workplace and site technologies while ensuring rapid resolution of technology issues that impact business operations.What You Will Experience In This Position:End User SupportProvide onsite Level 2 technical support for desktop, laptop, mobile device, printer, and peripheral issues.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application-related incidents.Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, and other enterprise applications.Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, tablets, and mobile devices.Support employee onboarding, offboarding, relocations, and workstation setups.Act as the primary onsite IT contact for employees and business leaders.Smart Hands Infrastructure SupportProvide onsite Smart Hands support for Application, Security, and Infrastructure teams.Perform equipment installation, replacement, rack-and-stack activities, and physical cabling.Assist with switch, router, firewall, wireless access point, and circuit troubleshooting.Conduct visual inspections and perform hardware diagnostics on network and server infrastructure.Coordinate with remote engineering teams during maintenance activities or outages.Support hardware upgrades, equipment replacements, and technology refresh projects.Escalate issues requiring advanced engineering support while serving as the onsite resource during troubleshooting and remediation activities.Conference Room & Collaboration Technology SupportSupport Microsoft Teams Rooms and conference room technologies.Troubleshoot displays, cameras, microphones, speaker systems, touch panels, and collaboration devices.Perform proactive testing and maintenance of conference room systems.Ensure meeting spaces remain operational and available for business use.Support executive meetings, town halls, and other critical business events requiring technology assistance.Site Technology SupportSupport printers, label printers, scanners, badge readers, digital displays, and other office technologies.Troubleshoot local network connectivity issues including wired and wireless access.Coordinate with vendors and centralized IT teams to resolve technology issues.Support business continuity efforts during technology outages and office disruptions.Incident and Service Request ManagementResolve incidents and requests within established service level objectives (SLOs).Accurately document incidents, requests, changes, and resolutions within the ITSM platform.Communicate status updates and resolution plans with customers.Participate in major incident response and restoration activities.Identify recurring issues and contribute to root cause analysis efforts.Device Lifecycle and Asset ManagementDeploy, configure, maintain, and retire end-user technology.Track hardware inventory and ensure asset management records remain accurate.Support technology refresh programs and hardware replacement schedules.Ensure equipment meets corporate standards and compliance requirements.Security and ComplianceSupport cybersecurity initiatives and endpoint compliance activities.Assist with vulnerability remediation on workplace devices.Support security investigations and incident response activities as directed.Enforce IT security standards, policies, and procedures.Promote secure technology practices among employees.You Have:RequiredAssociate degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.3+ years of IT support experience in a corporate environment.Experience supporting business offices with 100+ employees.Strong desktop and mobile device troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of:Windows 11Microsoft 365Microsoft TeamsEntra ID / Active DirectoryNetworking fundamentalsMobile device supportPrinter and peripheral supportConference room technologiesAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities.Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.PreferredCompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.Experience with SCCM, Microsoft Intune or other endpoint management platforms.Familiarity with network switches, wireless infrastructure, and structured cabling.Experience providing Smart Hands support for infrastructure teams.Experience supporting Teams Rooms and modern workplace technologies.Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or multi-site Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
