Dialysis RN

Job Summary:

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) will oversee the delivery of dialysis and patient care at multiple clinic locations. The RN is responsible for patient education, supervising Dialysis Technicians, adjusting treatment plans per standing orders, monitoring patient outcomes, administering medications, participating in quality improvement projects, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team including social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists. This role requires flexibility to float between four clinics and work any day Monday through Saturday. Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to dialysis patients in an ambulatory setting.
• Educate patients regarding dialysis treatments and care plans.
• Supervise Dialysis Technicians and support staff.
• Adjust treatment plans according to standing orders and patient needs.
• Monitor patient outcomes and document clinical information accurately.
• Administer medications as prescribed and per protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Collaborate closely with social workers, dietitians, nephrologists, and other care team members.
• Float between multiple clinic locations as assigned.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing or Multi-State Compact Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Previous dialysis nursing experience is required.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in acute care or ambulatory nursing settings.

Special Considerations:

• Ability to work at any of the assigned clinic locations: Everett, Smokey Point, Mountlake Terrace, and Monroe.
• Flexibility to work any shift (AM/PM) depending on staffing needs.
• Float assignment covering multiple clinics.

Scheduling:

• Workdays may be any day Monday through Saturday.
• Shift schedule includes morning and/or afternoon shifts as assigned.
