Embedded Software Engineer

Embedded Software EngineerAs an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of embedded software for Client products. Additionally, you will be responsible for:Unit testingReviewing work products (code, requirements, design)Maintaining build scriptsWritten design documentationCompleting release checklistsCompleting assigned software development tasksAttending scrums, project, group, and department meetingsWorking closely with a cross-functional project teamCommunicate and escalate key issues affecting your assigned tasksMeet key internal and customer milestone datesSupport test tools and testability of Client productsIndustry: AutomotiveDevelopment Processes: Structured (e.g. DO-178B like)Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills written and verbal.Required Skills:Strong in C for embedded systemsExperienced with documenting software designs in ASPICEExperienced with unit testing and Unity Testing FrameworkExperienced with following MISRA guidelines and resolving MISRA and Lint issuesExperienced with requirements reviews and code reviewsThese would be a plus:Experienced with RTOS (both Windows and Linux environments)Experienced with build automation tools: Rake, TeamCityStrong understanding of code coverageExperienced with software task management: Jira, Code Collaborator, etc.Please consider this exciting opportunity to join a large and growing Engineering Solutions team with the potential of supporting multiple high profile customers on a variety of products using exciting technologies
