Description Staff Accountant Job Description As a Staff Accountant, you support all aspects of financial responsibility for Go Local Interactive. You focus heavily on daily collections activity, general accounting tasks that support senior team members, and have strict adherence to company financial processes. You analyze, interpret, and communicate the financial data and reports impacting our daily business. You prepare Ad Hoc financial requests and consolidated financial reporting packages. You cultivate and maintain relationships with our clients as you are responsible for billing, collections, and payables. Job Expectations Assist in the company collections process ensuring timely collection of payments, accurate reporting of payments, and following up on regular cadence as needed. Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages Prepare Ad Hoc financial requests Responsible for client billing, collections, and payables Manage general ledger and account reconciliation Interpret, translate, and communicate the billing and financial impacts each client contract has on the company Manage and cultivate relationships internally and externally with product teams and current, past, and future clients Conduct constant financial analysis and implement process improvements Requirements Job Qualifications Must demonstrate strategic and analytical thinking when solving problems Must demonstrate a proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible and fast paced environment to effectively meet deadlines Must demonstrate ability to be held and hold others accountable to best practices and legal compliance Must demonstrate the ability to research and stay up-to-date on industry trends Demonstrated exemplary skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Must demonstrate exemplary written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of NetSuite is preferred Required Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. 3-5 years in related accounting or finance experience Travel None Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. Schedule Full-time; 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday Benefits/Perks: Three (3) medical insurance plan options with Aetna. 100% of Employee Level Coverage for health insurance is paid by Go Local Interactive. 2 Health Insurance Plans are HSA eligible and will receive the following contributions from Go Local Interactive regardless of an employee's contribution to the account: $500 for Employee Only, $1,000 for Employee + Spouse, and $3,000 for Employee + Family or Employee + Children. FSA and FSA Dependent care eligible. Dental, vision, $25,000 basic life insurance, short term disability insurances paid for 100% by Go Local Interactive. 401k retirement safe harbor plan available including a 4% company match after 1 year. Insurances and 401(k) start 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Minimum Fifteen (15) Paid Time Off (PTO) days your first year (hours earned each pay date).
