Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) InstructorThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor provides instructional support for a U.S Department of Labor Job Corps contractor, Human Learning Systems. The Job Corps program is a federally funded residential training program. Job Corps' mission is to educate and train youth ages 16-24 for successful careers in the nation's fastest-growing industries.Summary of Duties: The Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor is responsible for providing students with industry recognized instruction and training leading to full-time jobs, higher education or advanced training.Key Areas of Responsibility:Provide students with quality career technical training instruction in a safe and clean environment which results in high completion and placement performance.Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems or study habits; coordinate with counselors and other staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training.Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.Develop and prepare lessons; recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.Participate on student evaluation of students' progress (ESP); establish quality goals for students during each evaluation period.Maintain accountability by documenting class attendance (class periods) daily.Maintain and monitor progress and attendance records, frequently update individual student progress on training achievement records (TARS).Education and Experience - A minimum of one-year experience in teaching or related field required.
