Description
Daily Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• Work with end users to review/analyze existing systems, reports and documentation.
• Participate in business user and stakeholder meetings for requirement gathering sessions. This will include but is not limited to the Forensic Investigation Center, Division of Criminal Justice Services, State Police & several areas within the Office of Information Technology Services (security, networking, workstation, architecture and database).
• Develop, write, and maintain a comprehensive requirements document and assist with use case development when required. All documents will be done according to ITS standards.
• Analyze, design, develop and document technical solutions utilizing Crystal Reports and Oracle/SQL queries. This will include but not limited to creating report designs, data mapping documents and configuration changes.
• Participate in the development and updating of Test cases/scripts
• Execute tests and record results. This will also include recording and tracking of defects.
• Interact with ITS staff, Forensic Lab staff and the LIMS vendor as necessary to determine and implement functional and technical requirements
• Participate in status meetings and provide monthly reports.
• Provide knowledge transfer to state staff in order to implement and support technical solutions.
• Work closely with the project manager and functional manager to ensure timely deliverables.

Mandatory Qualifications 1 60 months Crystal Reports development experience based on complex queries (using multiple data sources and defining relationships between different pieces of data) and results. 2 60 months experience supporting user applications and working with clients to identify system issues and improvements for functionality 3 24 months experience working with a Lab Information Management System 4 60 months experience in obtaining and writing business, user and functional requirements, use cases, creating mock reports and workflows 5 60 months experience working with an Oracle Relational Databases. 6 60 months system design experience 7 24 Months experience using Test Management tools such as ALM/Quality Center. 8 Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Natural Sciences, or related field.
