Cart Builder | Overnight

Shift & Compensation Shift: Sunday - Wednesday 7:00PM-5:30AM Pay $15.50 + $2.00 Shift Differential = $17.50 Overview A Cart Builder is responsible for efficiently building restock carts by separating cases of product from pallet onto designated carts as directed by a voice and/or radio frequency (RF) unit. They build/prepare pulling carts using voice and/or RF unit in accordance to ship times, size of orders and customer's requests, and Dynamics. Responsibilities Build carts by following standard operating procedures. Move product with a pallet jack and/or hand truck. Relocate product from Slow Bay using RF unit. Use Radio Frequency (RF) unit in combination with Internal Operating System to perform daily work. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Demonstrates ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require. Ability to learn Internal Operating System and operate Radio Frequency (RF) unit. Ability to work in high-demand, high-volume environment and meet deadlines. Comprehend verbal and written instructions. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Able to work both independently and within a team. Essential days or overtime may be required. Ability to read, write and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds. Use both hands and full range of motion of the neck, head and back. Reach with hands and arms, grasp and perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions. Climb stairs, kneel/squat, bend and carry. Requires close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. May be required to wear a headset covering one or both ears. Basic literacy required for operation of machines and necessary daily paperwork. Work environment is moderately noisy. Employee may be required to work near conveyor systems. Exposure to dust and changes in weather conditions. Potential hazards with machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, etc. Work is performed under typical warehouse conditions.
