Office Assistant - Full Time - Eventide GracePointe Senior Living

Eventide GracePointe Senior Living is seeking an Office Assistant to work 8:30a-5p Monday-Friday

The Office Assistant is responsible for maintaining and facilitating communication between the public, residents and staff, promoting all communications and contact in a professional, positive, and friendly manner and operating and monitoring the security system and performs numerous secretarial functions as assigned by the Senior Living Director.

Essential Functions

• Maintains effective and positive relationships with residents, tenants, families, staff, and visitors.
• Operates switchboard and directs/assists people at reception area utilizing excellent customer service skills.
• Performs clerical duties which require a working knowledge of office machines, facility programs, operating procedures, and computers.
• Coordinates usage of special meeting rooms, set-up and catering for special functions, and rental of guest room.
• Works with the Director of Senior Living or Resident Care Manager to ensure that daily staffing is adequate. Secures replacements as needed

Ideal Candidate

• Requires thorough knowledge of office procedures, ability to operate office equipment, and excellent computer skills.
• Must have good interpersonal skills to build rapport with all staff, tenants, and families.
• Must be capable of typing, calculations, collating, and using a keyboard.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous office experience is preferred

Compensation

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $16.50-18.48 per hour for Office Assistants based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
