Sales Support Specialist

Location: Greenville

Job Type: Full-Time 1st shift

Local manufacturer are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join their team!

The ideal candidate has experience working with ERP systems in a logistics, shipping, manufacturing, or supply chain environment and understands the importance of keeping orders moving accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with sales and operations to process customer orders, coordinate shipping information, and respond quickly to changing priorities throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and shipping information accurately and efficiently within an ERP system.
• Read and interpret pick tickets, customer orders, and related documentation.
• Calculate and enter shipment dimensions, gross weight, and net weight.
• Perform high-volume numeric data entry while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Manage multiple shipping deadlines and ensure orders are processed within required timeframes.
• Communicate with sales and other internal teams to resolve questions and keep orders moving.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established processes and procedures.
• Prioritize and organize work effectively in a continually changing environment.

Qualifications

ERP & Logistics Experience

• 1–2 years of experience working in an ERP system, preferably in a logistics, shipping, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
• Experience with Aptean WorkWise ERP is a significant advantage.
• Experience with comparable ERP platforms will also be considered.

Logistics Knowledge

• Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and customer orders.
• Understanding of cartons, pallets, skids, and common shipping terminology.
• Ability to calculate shipment dimensions, gross weight, and net weight.
• Familiarity with shipping and order-processing workflows.

Data Entry & Accuracy

• Strong numeric data-entry skills.
• Ability to enter long numeric strings quickly and accurately.
• Experience performing high-volume data entry is highly desirable.
• Target performance of approximately 10,000–12,000 keystrokes per hour (KPH) while maintaining accuracy.

Pace & Organization

• Comfortable working under constant time pressure and multiple daily shipping deadlines.
• Able to balance speed, accuracy, and prioritization.
• Highly organized and able to track work through frequent interruptions.
