Job Summary As a Server at Hana Koa Brewing, you play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers. You will provide friendly and efficient service, take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure that our guests have an outstanding time at our brew pub. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing recommendations, answering questions, and offering a high level of customer service. Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests, input orders into the POS system, and ensure all special requests and dietary preferences are noted. Food and Beverage Delivery: Serve food and drinks promptly and accurately, ensuring that each order is presented neatly and with attention to detail. Menu Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including beer selections, food items, specials, and promotions, and be able to communicate this information to customers. Upselling: Suggest additional items or beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Payment Handling: Process payments, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and return correct change. Table Maintenance: Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment for guests. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards, including handwashing, proper food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure efficient service and a smooth overall dining experience. Compliance: Follow all safety and health regulations and maintain knowledge of responsible alcohol service guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or brew pub is preferred. Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for order processing and payment handling. Knowledge of craft beer and a willingness to learn about our brew pub's offerings. Cicerone Certified Beer Server. Current Hawaii liquor commission card. Why Hana Koa?
