If you're looking for a place where your ideas matter, your growth is encouraged, and your work truly makes an impact, you'll thrive here.Come build your career with a team that invests in you from day one.~Hiring Entry-level technicians up to Master-level technicians! ~Position At A GlanceLocation: South Royalton, VT Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: Daylight Hours Address: 402 VT-107 A, South Royalton, VT 05068Sign-On Bonus: Earn up to $5,000 for Expert and Master-Level Diesel Technicians!What You'll DoAs a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you'll be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.Perform minor to advanced repairs as outlined on the repair orderDiagnose causes of malfunctions and complete repairs as directed by a supervisorAssist other technicians on major repairsCommunicate with the parts department to obtain needed partsSave and tag warranty or customer-requested partsExamine vehicles for additional safety or service needsDocument all work performed and recommended, including warranty informationRoad test vehicles as required or refer to test technicianKeep work area, service truck, and customer vehicles clean and organizedReport machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisorStay current on manufacturer technical bulletinsFollow all federal, state, and local regulations, and adhere to Hunter Truck safety policiesExpert to Master levels will also:Handle complex mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervisionPerform electrical and/or air conditioning system repairsPerform major component repairs and/or overhaulsWhat You BringEducation & Experience: We're hiring technicians at all experience levels—from entry-level candidates with up to 3 years of experience to highly skilled professionals with 5+ years in the field.Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver's License required; must meet company insurability standards. A one-year certificate from a college or vocational/technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience, is preferred.Physical Requirements: Regular standing and use of hands; frequent walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs, frequently up to 100 lbs, and occasionally more than 100 lbs.
