You'll care for a diverse medical/surgical patient population while working alongside physicians, nursing colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.Full-Time Nights | Consistent Schedule | Competitive Pay | Night Shift DifferentialIf you're looking for a nursing environment where you can use your clinical skills, grow professionally, and make a meaningful difference for patients and families in your community, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoProvide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to medical/surgical patients throughout the continuum of care.Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify changes in patient condition.Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.Monitor patient responses to medications, treatments, and interventions and communicate significant changes promptly.Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition, including escalating concerns when necessary.Collaborate with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, discharge instructions, and ongoing care needs.Promote patient safety, fall prevention, infection prevention, and other quality and safety initiatives.Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.Participate in admission, transfer, discharge, and transition-of-care processes.Prioritize and organize care effectively in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment.Support and contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.Perform other duties within the scope of practice as assigned.What You BringRequiredGraduate of an accredited nursing program.Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.Ability to successfully complete required hospital orientation and competency requirements.PreferredPrevious medical/surgical, acute-care, or hospital nursing experience.Current ACLS certification.Experience caring for patients with multiple medical diagnoses and complex care needs.Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.New graduate RNs may be considered.
