Senior Product Manager-Leadless & Low Voltage Therapies

The Senior Product Manager position works out of Austin, TX or Sylmar, CA in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division. This is a fully onsite role. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, the role focuses on leveraging healthcare and technology to improve patient outcomes. The Senior Product Manager will lead product strategy, drive development direction for leadless and low voltage therapy product lines, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver valuable products that advance the standard of care. What You’ll Work On Develop, own, and execute a cohesive vision and strategy for product lines with marketing counterparts and regional teams to ensure winning market propositions. Drive cross‑functional and cross‑geo alignment on new products and features by reinforcing the Abbott CRM marketing process. Lead alignment on problem and opportunity statements, product profiles, value propositions, claims planning, forecasting, and geo planning throughout product development cycles. Understand competitive offerings and provide development and commercial teams with differentiated positioning to add value to customers. Develop the Marketing Plan by incorporating all aspects of the strategic direction. Present products during customer visits and internal review meetings. Collect and maintain global Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback through qualitative and quantitative research. Create Customer Insights, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, claims development, and user needs definition. Analyze VOC, sales data, and financials to quantify new opportunities, build NPV models, and produce near and long‑range forecasts. Provide clear, data‑driven recommendations and deliverables that support marketing initiatives and refine product strategy. Represent VOC and commercially aligned inputs to product development teams. Coordinate with PMO, Operations, Finance, R&D, Quality, and Regulatory to achieve business objectives. Maintain communication with global downstream marketing partners, regional teams, and other areas affecting product success. Contribute to strategic plans that drive new product flows to customers, highlighting differentiation and value. Drive downstream marketing on positioning, messaging, and branding based on the claims matrix and VOC. Lead launching activities to achieve Plan/Update objectives. Interface with consultants, research firms, vendors, and customers to build and maintain strong relationships while managing budgets and compliance. Ensure compliance with Quality System, Ethics, and compliance guidelines while staying within budget. Education and Experience You’ll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Master’s Degree; an MBA is strongly preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience. 5–8 years of related work experience with comprehensive knowledge of business concepts and practices. Expert knowledge of the impact of various solutions on the business. Preferred Experience 5+ years of international marketing/product management experience in the medical device, life science, pharma, or diagnostics industry. Experience working in a global corporation with a matrix structure, collaborating effectively across functions. Ability to prioritize and manage project initiatives across multiple functions and business units. Strong project management, team skills, and influential leadership in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Adept at handling multiple assignments and meeting deadlines. Willingness to travel approximately 30%, including internationally. The base pay for this position is $113,300.00 – $226,700.00.
