Job Summary: A Nail Technician focuses on providing expert manicure, pedicure, and nail enhancement services to elevate our clients' confidence and style. Combining precise technical skill with creative artistry, this role requires sharp attention to detail and a strong commitment to client comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional manicure and pedicure treatments, including regular polish, gel/shellac, and advanced nail enhancements.
- Stay informed about the latest nail trends, shapes, and creative nail art techniques.
- Safely remove existing polish and enhancements without damaging the client's natural nails.
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards for all tools, implements, and stations in compliance with state regulations.
- Advise clients on proper nail care, maintenance, and recommended retail products.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through warm, professional service and consistent follow-up.
- Collaborate with the salon team to ensure a smooth, efficient daily workflow and an exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active Connecticut Nail Technician or Cosmetology license required.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a professional salon environment is preferred.
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a passion for the beauty industry.
- Flexibility to work shifts within our 7-day schedule (we prioritize balanced scheduling so our staff is never overworked!).
